The Department of ICT delivers education and research of high international quality within a field of rapid development.
Our study programs cover all levels of information and communication technology, and the teaching takes place in both Norwegian and English.
Key research topics are Communication and system security, mobile communication, embedded systems, e-health, and e-learning, and the department has specialized expertise in artificial intelligence and intelligent signal processing and wireless networks. A lot of development work takes place in the fields of electronics, multimedia and e-learning.
The department work close to both the public and private sectors in the region and play an essential role in regional development and innovation.
