Technology developed in the MSCA-RISE project CLOVER have a high potential for innovation, the European Commission's Innovation Radar says.

– This opens possibilities for further application related projects and can be of interest for industrial partners working with the controlled hydraulic machines and actuators, Professor Michael Ruderman, from The Department of Engineering sciences at UiA says.
The CLOVER project (Robust Control, State Estimation and Disturbance Compensation for Highly Dynamic Environmental Mechatronic Systems) started in 2017. UiA plays an active part in the project, together with other ten European participants and two partners from Mexico and Japan. The CLOVER consortium includes both academic institutions and industrial companies.
The goal of the project is to offer a novel methodology in an environmental mechatronic control system design relying on multidisciplinary knowledge.
The Innovation Radar is a European Commission initiative to identify high potential innovations and innovators in EU-funded research and innovation framework programs.
This is first time UiA appears in EC Innovation Radar of H2020 projects. It is the UiA innovation “Antagonistic hydraulic setup for real-time control developments and tests” that has been analyzed and recently included into EC Innovation Radar platform.
