The Department of Nordic and Media Studies educates professionals for work in education, publishing, libraries, media, communications and more. We have a large community specialising in a wide range of fields with an extensive collaboration with companies outside the university, both related to student internships as well as collaborative research projects.
We do research in a number of disciplines related to linguistics, comparative literature, semiotics, didactics as well as media studies. Please take at look at the presentations of the department’s research groups, even though these do not provide exhaustive information about everything our staff is involved in.
