The Eilert Sundt award is a research award for pupils in secondary schools in Agder. In the autumn semester the pupils are invited to a social science research event at the University of Agder in Kristiansand. The event serves as an inspiration and kick-off for projects, which typically address a social science issue linked to the region. The pupils hand in their group projects in March, and in April the three best projects are awarded.
The Eilert Sundt award is a collaboration between the Faculty of Social Sciences and secondary schools in the region.
