This laboratory is used for research in solar cell materials and their applications

 Instruments:

• Neonsee AAA Sun Simulator for testing solar cells at standard conditions
• KDXLASER Laser sample cutter for cutting samples of wafers and solar cells
• ATLAS SUNTEST XLS+ UV-chamber  for controlled exposure of UV-radiation to solar cells and other materials.
• EGK HEM-2000 Hall Effect Measuring System. The Hall effect is the production of a voltage difference (the Hall voltage) across an electrical conductor, transverse to an electric current in the conductor
• Anatech SP-100 Plasma System.
  • For cleaning specimen surfaces.
  • Used for advanced surface characterization.
  • Standard substrate preparation for thin film production
• ANDOR IKON-M IR-Camera for Imaging Electroluminescence and Photoluminescence of Solar Cells and Modules.  
• OutBack off-gridd PV system with battery storage
• I-V curve tracer for solar cells
• Lock-in amplifier
• Programmable Inverter
•  Solar module flasher (located in room C1 100)
• Standard electronic lab equipment
