The University of the Arts Helsinki (Uniarts) is mainly located in Helsinki, but they also have campuses in Kupio and Seinäjoki. In 2017, there were almost 2,000 students at the university, including both bachelor's and master's levels.
Recently, the Sibelius Academy was merged with other art institutions in what is now called the University of the Arts / University of Arts Helsinki. UiA continues to collaborate with the music education programs at the Sibelius Academy through the Nordplusmusic network. For popular music, the Nordpuls network applies, and for classical music the Sibelius network.
Tuition
No tuition fees.
If you apply for an exchange within this network you will get a monthly grant from the network. The grant varies in size from year to year but can be around EUR 200 per month.
Credits and Modules
Students from UiA must take 30 ECTS per semester.
