My research interests unite two strands of information systems inquiry: data governance and data-driven value creation in digital ecosystems. Empirically, I am investigating this topic by exploring the production, sharing and usage of patient (generated) healthcare data across multiple stakeholders and beyond the boundaries of single organizations. Theoretically, my interests lie in complexity theories, or assemblage theory in particular. I aim to use this high-level abstract theory to generate concepts which will bring greater understanding to data as an information systems phenomenon.
During my PhD, I was also a visiting research student at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences for two terms: Jan - June 2022.
