Eva Mari Andreasen is a Research Fellow and Assistant professor at the Department of Health- and Nursing Science at the University of Agder (UiA). She has a diverse background in nursing, having worked in medical, surgical, and psychiatric wards and municipal healthcare settings.
As a part of her Ph.D. studies, Eva Mari has demonstrated her passion for improving nursing education. She has been an instrumental part of her research group, developing she has, together with her research group, developing a desktop virtual reality (VR) simulation learning activity for undergraduate nursing students to learn the Identification-Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation (ISBAR) approach. Her research investigates the effectiveness of this learning activity, aiming to enhance communication among nursing students.
Eva Mari won the prestigious Researchers’ Grand Prix competition in 2022.
