Kjetil Andersson is associate professor in economics at the School of Business and Law at the University of Agder. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, a Master in Business from the Norwegian School of Economics and a Master in Economics from the University of Oslo.
His main research topics include industrial organization and applied econometrics in fields like labor markets, development economics and economics of education. For the moment he is working on multihoming, savings groups and the effect of digital teching tools in higher education.
Andersson’s research has been published in journals such as Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Review of Industrial Organization and Industrial and Corporate Change.
Andersson is a member of the research group Competition, Networks and Institutions (CNI) at the University of Agder.
Andersson has been invited speaker or consultant for institutions like NHH, NRK and Telenor ASA.
Main research topics include industrial organization and applied econometrics. Currently he works on estimation of firm level mark-ups and productivity.
