Odin has a MChemPhys degree in chemical physics and a PhD in engineering, both from the University of Edinburgh. The PhD covered the separation of carbon dioxide from industrial processes using amine-based membrane technology, and was part of the EU Horizon 2020 project NANOMEMC2. He has also worked with process optimization and chemical additives for oil and gas separation processes in the British petroleum industry. Odin is responsible for the energy labs at the Univeristy of Agder, with core competencies in the fields of chemistry and process technology.
