I am a research fellow at the Department of Visual Arts and Drama. For my PhD project I explore my own practice as an art curator in my work with themes related to ecology and the concept of the Anthropocene and the mediums of sculpture and performance. In this context, I am interested in the pedagogical potentials of the curator to raise awareness around sustainability and the ethical implications that this work entails. I will curate various exhibitions for Agder Kunstsenter and Kunstpunkt Lista as part of the project.
Other research interests include analysis of contemporary art and literature through conceptual lenses such as affect theory, media aesthetics, queer theory and eco-aesthetics.
