Merete Lundetræ Andersen

My research object for my PhD, is documentary theatre that deals with collective memories and trauma, based on contemporary theatre about Norway in the Second World War. My project is a part of the interdiciplinary project Making Memories.

I have an interdisciplinary background from both theatre, visual arts and practical-aesthetic teacher training, and have extensive experience in teaching children and adolescents, primarily in theatre.

Areas of interest: Documentary and the real world in both theatre and other performing arts, applied theatre, the social mission of art, drama pedagogy - and the importance of practical and aesthetic learning processes for children and adolescents.
