Rune Stangeland is an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and law. He holds a law degree from the University of Oslo and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Copenhagen Business School.
Through 20 years of law practice, mainly as an attorney, he has broad insight into the practical application of legal matters. He also has a background as HR Manager in an international oil service company and as a journalist in the financial press.His professional interests are especially legal relationships with and between enterprises, including the interaction between daily management, employees, the Board and shareholders.
Stangeland is former chairman of the Vest-Agder Association of Lawyers and The Norwegian Bar Association`s Disciplinary Committee for Agder and Rogaland.
Rune Stangeland teaches several courses at the University of Agder, including the Master's program in Accounting and Auditing and the Master's Program in Management.
He still practices part-time as an attorney in the Law Firm SYD Advokater.
