The Center for e-health aims to develop a long-term collaboration with selected national and international research partners that focus on e-health.
European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Aging (EIP-AHA)
EIP-AHA is an initiative launched by the European Commission to facilitate innovation and digital transformation in the field of active and healthy aging. The Center for e-Health represents Southern Norway in the action group Integrated care. The main partner is the Norwegian Directorate of Health (NHS 24). EIP provides input to the EU's research program Horizon 2020.
Digital Health and Care Institute at the University of Strathclyde (DHI)
The Center for e-health collaborates with DHI through various projects and networks such as the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Aging. Both DHI and we emphasize the users' experience of health services.
The collaboration is, among other things, about technological innovation and co-creation between the public sector, the private sector, academia and the population. DHI has a mandate from the Scottish Government to develop solutions for e-health, and is thus the gateway to e-health in Scotland.
Norwegian Center for e-health Research
We collaborate with the Norwegian Center for e-health Research through various projects. The national center will contribute to achieving the goal of a common national ICT solution for the health and care service. It will collect, produce and disseminate knowledge the authorities need to develop a knowledge-based policy in the e-health area.
The e-health alliance
The e-health alliance is a partnership consisting of actors from research institutions, private and public environments in Agder who want to unleash the region's potential to develop and implement new solutions within e-health. The overall goal of the alliance is to promote the focus on e-health in Agder and take a position in relation to the national focus. The Alliance wants to meet challenges related to the co-operation reform and to strengthen the network in OSS (Overall Strategic Cooperation Committee). The alliance will initiate collaborative projects both nationally and internationally in the field. By creating synergy between different actors, the alliance aims to strengthen Agder's position as an international and future-oriented region.

UiA co-creation
The Center for e-health collaborates with many strong academic environments at UiA who research questions within e-health. CAIR researches artificial intelligence and machine learning. Strong professional environments within public health or sports and nutrition are the research groups PASTA and FEED. In addition, we collaborate with CeDIT, the Center for Digital Transformation and the Center for Care Research.
