It is also possible to complain about the exam result and have your answer assessed by a new commission.

As a student, you are entitled to request an explanation of your grades pursuant to the Act relating to Universities and Colleges section 5-3 (1).
As a student, you have the right to appeal in writing against your grade pursuant to the Act relating to Universities and Colleges, section 5-3 (4).
The deadline for appeals is three weeks from the grade being announced on StudentWeb.
If you have requested an explanation for the grade or appealed over formal errors, the appeal deadline starts from the moment you have received the explanation or when the appeal over formal errors has been resolved.
You do not have the right to appeal for oral exams, practical training, or similar assessments that cannot be verified.
In group exams, each individual member who wishes to appeal must do so through StudentWeb. The appeal only applies to the individual filing the appeal, not the entire group.
The deadline for grading is three weeks from the expiration of the appeal deadline, resulting in a standard processing time of approximately six weeks. During the summer, this may take longer due to vacation schedules. Also, note that the grading deadline for master's theses is six weeks.
We would like to inform you that transcripts and grade certificates that have been issued will be updated if the grade is changed as a result of the appeal. By submitting the appeal, you consent to this.
If the new grading differs by two or more grades from the original grading, an additional assessment must be conducted before the final grade is determined, as per the Act relating to Universities and University Colleges §5-3 (6). This provision came into effect on July 1, 2018.
