Your log-in information consists of username, password and two-factor authentication. Having these in hand gives you access to all UiA systems.
Change or set password
After getting your username, you may create a password below.
The password is valid for 13 months, and a reminder will be sent to your UiA e-mail account before you need to change it.
It is important that you read all e-mails from your UiA e-mail address. We encourage you to download Outlook on your computer or your phone to stay updated.
For changing your expired password, press the button above and choose "Forgotten or expired password". Choose to receive an SMS and change your password.
Within an hour your new password will come into effect.
Change phone number
If you recently changed your phone number, you may change this on Studentweb - or contact UiA Help.
Two-factor authentication
All students, as well as employees has to set up a two-factor authentication method. This is a security measure that comes alongside your password.
For log-in issues connected to this (usually if you switch phone), contact UiA Help with valid ID at hand.
If you are at Campus or at a remote location, we need to identify you and your ID in person or through Zoom.
If you have a norwegian ID-number and have set up BankID or MinID, you can change your two-factor yourself on the button below. Remember to log into the form in the top right.
Bear in mind that you have access to our services as long as you are a student at UiA. We recommend you to transfer important files and e-mail to your own device or cloud service before you complete or end your studies here.
