The CIEM centre at UiA was recently granted NOK 11 million from the Research Council of Norway for an international research project about information sharing within emergency preparedness and management.
Sunniva Whittaker celebrated her election victory on Monday by walking her dog. “I am very proud, and humble about the mandate I have received, and about the job I am taking on in the autumn,” she says.
Sunniva Whittaker is the University of Agder's next rector. Her rector period will last from 1 August 2019 to 31 July 2023. She received 68.37% of the votes.

On Wednesday, 6 February, the Election Committee will hold two open meetings for the rector candidates Stephen Seiler and Sunniva Whittaker – one on Campus Grimstad and one on Campus Kristiansand. The meetings will be streamed.
