I am a PhD research fellow at the department of Global Development and Planning. My research focuses on different opinions on climate policies. What are we really talking about when we discuss climate policies?
My academic background is a MA in sociology focusing on climate communication. I have worked as a teacher for many years in high schools. My fields of interest include environment, sociology, communication, improvisation, interactive pedagogical methods, and trying to fill the office with plants.

As issues such as the environment and climate change become more prominent in public debates, Norway’s green policies such as the implementation of regional area and transport plans and city growth agreements are becoming increasingly contested at the local level.
In my research I focus on linking climate policy discussions, with values. What lies behind the arguments? How are people from different views justifiying their arguments on climate related topics? Who and what do we trust?
