Sofiia Rzhevuska

PhD Research Fellow

My project "Making heritage abroad - Ukrainian diaspora in the USA during the Cold War" aims to research post-World War II Ukrainian emigration to the United States of America from 1945 – 1955. The dissertation covers three main fields – emigration in a historical context, identity building, and heritage maintenance.My academic background includes history, cultural studies, and archaeology. I have graduated the Master`s Degree in History and Archaeology in National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" (2021) and the Bachelor`s Degree in Museology and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments in Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (2019).
