The student representatives have a special responsibility for student participation. At least two representatives for every level of all study programmes must be elected and at least one representative from free-standing courses. At the PhD level, one representative is elected for each PhD programme and possibly also for each specialisation.
When elected, all student representatives register in the university`s digital register.
Deadlines for registration:
Autumn semester: 6 September
Spring semester: 20 February (New representatives in the spring semester only) Registration implies that information about name, e-mail, and mobile (voluntary) is published and will be visible for staff and students (feide-uia-log-in).
The University Director in cooperation with The Student Organisation in Agder (STA) is responsible for carrying out joint training for all student representatives (normally in September). In cooperation with STA, the Faculty-/Unit Director is responsible for inviting student representatives to an information- and cooperation meeting each semester.
A student representative is an elected student for the study programme/year and are to represent the students in processes, meetings and gatherings where the students voice should be heard.
