Leif Skiftenes Flak har 20 års erfaring med forsking og undervisning knyttet til  digitalisering og digital transformasjon. Mye av forskningen har vært rettet mot offentlige virksomheter og hvordan slike kan realisere nytte fra digitaliseringsinitiativ. Den senere tiden har han blitt nysgjerrig på sammenhenger mellom digitalisering og bærekraftig utvikling. Flak har bred erfaring men eksternt finansierte forskningsprosjekt både nasjonalt og internasjonalt. Han blir ofte invitert til å holde foredrag og har vært del av en rekke ekspertutvalg og styringsgrupper. Flak ledet CeDiT - Centre for Digital Transformation ved UiA fra 2018 til 2022 og er medgrunnlegger av, og aktivt styremedlem i GoForIT - Norges kunnskapsarena i skjæringspunktet mellom digitalisering og bærekraft. 

Prosjekter

GOV 3.0 (2017 - 2020)

The project aims to the establish Government 3.0 as a vivid scientific domain, encompassing Electronic Government, ICT-enabled Governance and Digital Government and decision support for public value creation. 

GOV 3.0 is funded by the EU as an Erasmus + Knowledge alliance. The project includes 8 partners from 7 countries.

TELMA (2016 - 2018)

TELMA er et innovasjons- og forskningsprosjekt med 6 partnere: Kristiansand kommune, Farsund kommune og Risør kommune, Sørlandets sykehus, UiA og Siemens Healthcare/Open Tele.

Prosjektet, som finansieres av Forskningsrådet og partnerne, skal bidra til utvikling av en telemedisinsk tjeneste for pasienter med kroniske sykdommer som diabetes, kols og hjertesvikt og for personer med psykiske problemer.

MASTIS (2015 - 2018)

Establishing Modern Master-level Studies in Information Systems (MASTIS) er støttet av EU-kommisjonen for å bidra til utvikling av state-of-the-art masterutdanning i informasjonssystemer.

Semicolon II (2010-2014)

Brukerstyrt innovasjonsprosjekt med støtte fra Norges forskningsråd. Prosjektet gjør forskning og utvikling knyttet til interoperabilitet i eForvaltningsprosjekter.
 

Addme (2009-2011)

PSP CIP som har til hensikt å inkludere vanskeligstilte grupper i eSamfunnet.
 

Ressursnettverk for eForvaltning (2007-2010)

Ressursnettverk med støtte fra Norges forskningsråd.
