Jeg arbeider innenfor informasjonssystemer, ett fagfelt som handler om hvordan vi arbeider smartest mulig for å utnytte teknologi. Mine forskningsinteresser er knyttet til IT i offentlig sektor, med fokus på eDialog og hvordan vi kan involvere innbyggere i offentlige tjenester og i politikkutforming. Jeg er interessert i hvordan nettsamfunn knyttet til politisk dialog organiseres og endres som en konsekvens av teknologisk utvikling. I tillegg arbeider jeg med hvordan IKT kan bidra til vekst og utvikling i utviklingsland, med prosjekter i Tanzania, Indonesia og Nepal. Jeg er også involvert i UiAs satsing på bruk av digitale læringsmidler i undervisningen.
