Rolf Tomas Nossum er Dr. Scient. fra Universitetet i Oslo, og arbeider som professor ved Matematisk institutt ved Universitetet i Agder. Han underviser i informatikk, matematikk, matematikk-historie og vitenskapsteori, og hans forskningstemaer er anvendt matematisk logikk og matematikk-historie.
