Elisabeth Cederberg Øvensen

PhD Research Fellow

Elisabeth is a Ph.D. Research Fellow in the ICT Department at the University of Agder, where she dedicates her research to exploring the intersection of academia and gaming. Her work aims to combat academic outsiderness and foster engagement through gameful experiences. With a diverse background, Elisabeth brings valuable perspectives to her research:

  • IT Industry: Elisabeth has a strong foundation in the IT industry, where she continues to hold a role. This practical experience informs her academic pursuits.
  • IT Project Management: Elisabeth’s substantial experience in project management equips her with organisational skills crucial for successful research endeavours.
  • Music Industry: Beyond technology, Elisabeth’s background in the audio/music industry adds a creative dimension to her work.

Research Interests: Elisabeth’s passion lies at the intersection of technology and human experiences. Her main research interests include:
