Niamh Ni Bhroin

I research how the digitalisation of society affects the everyday lives of children and young people. I am a member of the EU Kids Online network in Norway and a founding member of the Center for Media Innovations at the University of Oslo. I have participated in national and international projects that investigate children and young people's media use, and publish and disseminate research on "screen time", media harm, the digitalisation of education and sharenting. I have a PhD in media studies from the Department of Media and Communication at the University of Oslo (2015).
