The Bachelor's Programme in Marketing and Management is a three-year integrated program with a strong focus on marketing and organization and leadership. In addition, students are given an introduction to various business administrative subjects as well as social science methodology. The first two years of the Programme consists of compulsory subjects. In the third year of study, students can either choose "Human Relation Management and Organizational Development" at campus Grimstad or continue at campus Kristiansand with a mix of elective courses in the fall semester and compulsory courses and the BA thesis in the spring semester.
Students who are interested in going on exchange, can do so in the 5th semester.

Students who do not go on exchange in the fifth semester can choose electives from different subject areas. In addition to the electives offered by the School of Business and Law, students can apply for approval for other bachelor level courses at UiA. For more information, contact the student adviser. The list of electives is subject to annual change. More information will be provided in the spring semester in the second year of study. Note that timetable collisions between electives may occur.

Students are exposed to international dimensions and issues in teaching as well as in the curriculum. Many faculty members have an international background and are active in international research networks. A number of courses are taught in English for incoming exchange students. This contributes to an international study environment, and students use English actively during their studies.
In fifth semester student may go on exchange. Studying abroad provides an opportunity to take courses and subjects beyond what is offered at the School of Business and Law at UiA. Additional benefits of studying abroad are improved language skills and cross-cultural communication skills, both highly valued by many employers.
The School of Business and Law at UiA is internationally accredited by AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), and the accreditation opens the doors for collaboration with good institutions worldwide. This programme is a vocational directed, interdisciplinary education. Because of the large number of business-related subjects, graduates from this program will be attractive to a number of positions in private companies, especially in areas like marketing, sales, and management. The programme is also a good starting point for graduates wishing to establish their own company.
Completion of this programme qualifies for applying to several master programmes at the University of Agder (UiA). Please notice that there may be additional requirements for admission to further studies.
