Three temporary employees in education and research positions are fighting to fill a vacancy on the University Board. Last chance to vote is Wednesday June 3.
Intensive and comprehensive efforts are being made to identify the opportunities for teaching all students physically on campus in the autumn semester. A great deal, however, will be taught online to ensure that not too many students are on campus at the same time.
There will be no student exchange during the autumn semester, neither for outgoing students nor incoming students. The plan is still to accept international applicants who want to take a full bachelor's or master's degree at UiA, but there is a lot of uncertainty associated with these applicants.
Three temporary employees in education and research positions are fighting to fill a vacancy on the University Board. The election starts on Tuesday 26 May.
Between 600 and 700 students will be allowed to enter certain areas on campus from Monday 18 May. More employees may also gradually return to their offices.
“We are pleased to be able to open more to both students and employees”, says Rector Sunniva Whittaker.
The constituency of employees in temporary teaching and research positions will elect its representative to the University Board for the next academic year. The deadline for submitting candidates is 12 May.
Home office is still the main rule for UiA employees and students. But UiA is now partially reopening the campuses for those who need to be at the office to do their job.
