Welcome to semester start at the University of Agder. Many things are different this year due to COVID-19. Here is a brief summary.
From 1 August, there will be some minor changes to how and where you can park in the area. Employee parking will not be affected. No changes will be implemented at Campus Grimstad.
Campus Kristiansand will be without power in the afternoon on 1 and 2 July, from 5pm to 9pm, which means that the buildings will be inaccessible. More will be closed on Wednesday than on Thursday. The computer network will be turned off all over campus, but only on Wednesday 1 July from 5pm to 9pm.
On Tuesday, the University Board decided that Co-creation of tomorrow`s knowledge is to be UiA’s new vision for 2021-2024.
With a majority of three votes, Research Fellow Anne Kirstine Munk Christiansen was elected a member to the University Board for the period 1 August 2020 – 31 July 2021, representing temporary employees in education and research positions.
UiA opens up its campuses for students who finish their bachelor degree in the course of the spring semester. All those concerned will be notified by email.
