Grimstad municipality has introduced stricter infection control measures as a consequence of the coronavirus situation in Arendal. These measures also impact Campus Grimstad. Students and employees should avoid travelling between campuses.
The IEEE International Workshop on Advanced Motion Control (AMC2020) took place fully digitally on September 14-16 after been postponed from April 20-22 due to COVID-19.

UiA has made its study centre Metochi available to the Norwegian medical team which has commenced its relief operation in the Moria camp on the island of Lesvos.
UiA is establishing a fast-track committee to see what the University can do to help after the fire in the Moria migrant camp on Lesvos. The Lesvos Campaign will be relaunched.
Updated 11 September: The student who was tested for possible coronavirus infection has tested negative a second time. The medical officer of health has therefore lifted the quarantine for the individuals affected, and UiA is back to ‘normal’ coronavirus preparedness. All teaching will resume as normal on Monday.
