The government has proposed to allocate NOK 5 million to a grant scheme to strengthen the offshore wind sector. But the proposal involves a total cut for UiA of around NOK 22 million.
Telenor will replace a number of antennas on the roof of Building A on Campus Kristiansand next week. On Tuesday, the main entrance will be closed because a large mobile crane will lift antennas and other equipment up onto the roof. Parts of the entrance hall will also be closed off.

Minister of Research and Higher Education Ola Borten Moe opened the academic year at the University of Agder. The Minister traced the lines from the first universities of Europe in the Middle Ages to the modern universities of today, here represented by UiA.
The change applies to both students and staff and will be introduced on Wednesday 10 August.
