Construction of Morrow's building will begin on 1 November at Campus Grimstad. This means that the parking garage under the construction site between Teknologiparken and I4Helse will be closed. In addition, there will be several changes in the parking layout on campus.
Activities on campus will resume as normal in the spring semester. The autumn semester will continue as planned, even though the risk level has changed from yellow to green and all coronavirus restrictions have been lifted.
NATIONAL SAFETY MONTH: Last semester, one of our employees climbed up on their office chair to reach something on the top shelf. The employee lost their balance and broke a wrist in the fall. We could say that these things happen, or that it is due to a lack of safety culture.
The government allows us to return to normal life from Saturday at 16:00. No local rules will be implemented but the return will be gradual.
The cleaning staff at the University of Agder do an invaluable job of keeping campus clean and free of infection.
The Election Committee at UiA has announced a by-election to the University Board from permanent employees in academic positions. The voting period is 18 - 22 October.
The test station in Kristiansand is open for rapid testing also on Saturday and Sunday. The offer is for students and employees at UiA, since UiA pays for the stations. In Grimstad, the test station is open on weekdays as before. Six students have been diagnosed with coronavirus in week 35, the last one on Sunday.
