An employee at the School of Business and Law at UiA has been diagnosed with coronavirus. The person in question took part in start-up meetings and has been in close contact with other employees at Campus Grimstad, but the situation seems to be under control.
UiA chooses, like most other universities and colleges, to start the semester cautiously. We want to avoid ending up in a situation where we get an outbreak. That would spoil the plan of returning to maximum activity on campus in the autumn semester.
Updated 4 August: UiA wants to give our students as much face-to-face teaching as possible, but from semester start the one-metre distance requirement will be maintained both in lectures and on campus in general. This is in line with the government's decision on 28 July - and in line with the plans UiA has prepared for semester start and the autumn semester.
It is now possible to travel to Lesvos again. This summer and autumn, there is room for both groups and individuals with a passion for writing.
